I got an email from Lori Martin on Monday morning about a cat and kittens sighted at the Superstore on Young Street. For those who don't know this wonderful woman, Lori maintains an email distribution list of unknown numbers and she sends out animal rescue messages to keep our commmunity informed. She is also rescuing a colony of cats herself in Hubley.
I have been trying to rescue these cats for three days so far, with the help of Pamela from ca-r-ma and a new volunteer, Tracey. So far we have rescued 3 adult cats and one kitten. We are still trying to catch the mother cat and 2nd kitten. We are requesting donations to help with the vet care, so please email katsonya@accesswave.ca if you can help.
